Grandma,
I will deeply cherish all the memories shared with you. From my engagement to Tom to the birth of Aubrey and Emma, I am forever grateful that you were here for it.
A person of incredible bravery and resilience to leave behind Germany ( the only place you knew filled with so much joy and heartache) to take a chance with Ronald in the United States. Though, dealing with so much uncertainty at first, what an incredible life you created. As I sit here and feel selfish for wanting more time, I feel great comfort in knowing you are surrounded once again with the family/friends who left to soon, Ronald, and Dad.
Please continue to look over us. Help us to feel your presence in some way when the days are long and dreary.
