Obituary of Irene Mary Mick

Irene Mary Mick, of Millville, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. She was 89.

Legacy

Born in Swedesboro and raised in Clarksboro, Irene graduated from Swedesboro High School. She shared 57 years of marriage with her late husband Tom and raised four children that complimented their family before he passed in 2015.

Irene worked as a bus driver for more than 30 years for Franklin Twp. School district and received many awards for perfect attendance. Irene loved her community of Franklin Twp so much that she volunteered as an EMT and Ambulance Driver to give back to her community.

Away from work, Irene enjoyed gardening. She will be fondly remembered as a fun loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Family

Irene is the beloved wife of the late Thomas; devoted mother of Linda Kivler (Frank), Beverly Mick, Karen Lechner (Kenneth), and Roger Mick (Denise); Cherished grandmother of Damian Jedwabnik, Kyle (Louisa) Lechner, Ashley Smith (Matt), Kourtney (Matt) Johnson, Korey (Katie) Lechner, Kasey Lechner, Kassidy Lechner, and the late Katlyn Shimp; Treasured great grandmother of Madelyn and Emma.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, February 24, 2023 after 10 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. where her Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11AM. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
