Obituary of Eleanor A. Carney

Eleanor A Carney (nee Serafin), 88, of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Legacy

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, Grannie, G G, and friend. Eleanor loved to be around her family, especially all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to Thrift store shopping, going to the casino, cheating at pinochle and chocolate cake.

Family

She was the beloved wife of Harry J. Carney, Sr. Devoted mother of Deborah Holick (Michael), Harry Jr. (Monique). Jacqueline Trakimas (Joseph), and Thomas (Kimberly). Treasured Grannie of Michele (Robert Sr.), Nicole (Ronnie), Harry III (Caryn), Brianna, Courtney (Derek), and Jessica. Cherished G G of Robert Jr., Anthony, Joseph, Mackenzie, and Emery. Daughter of the late Anna and late Edward Serafin. She will be missed by family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, March 11th from 10:30AM to 11:30AM in St. Mary's RC Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Funeral Mass at 11:45AM. Interment to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
