Obituary of Joseph F. Bradley
Joseph F. Bradley, 91, of Washington Township, passed away from heart failure on Friday, March 17, 2023.
Legacy & Family
He was born on October 17, 1931 in Clayton, NJ to Daniel A. Bradley and Christine Elm Bradley. He was a graduate of Clayton High School and attended Temple University. Joe served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict as a radio operator, was a trustee in the Gloucester County Veterans Council, and a member of the Korean War Veterans Association. He will be remembered for his many years of service as chair of the Social Concerns Ministry of Our Lady of Peace Parish, helping to feed and provide warmth to thousands of needy people.
Professionally, Joe’s successful career in international marketing gave him the opportunity to travel to 43 nations and helped develop his world view of economics and politics.
In his leisure, Joe enjoyed golf, fishing, feeding birds and raising butterflies, taking trips, enjoying family get togethers, and following the Eagles and Phillies.
Joseph was pre-deceased by his first wife of many years, Barbara O’Connor Bradley, and his siblings, Daniel Bradley, Edward Bradley, John Bradley, and Gracemarie Metz. He is lovingly remembered and survived by his second wife of 29 years, Constance Flint Bradley, his three children, Sr. Regina O.C.D. (Barbara), of Mobile, AL, Michael Bradley, Sr. (Pamela) of Williamstown, and Robert Bradley (Patti) of Spanish Fort, AL, his step-children, David Flint (Carrie), Gary Flint, Karen Flint, and Thomas Flint (Janine). Joe was also the proud grandfather of Jaime Hosford (Joseph), Amanda Bradley, Michael Bradley, Jr (Lauren), Stacey Bradley, Gabrielle Bradley, Emily Flint, Kristen Flint, Melissa Flint, and Christopher Flint, and nine great-grandchildren.
Farewell Tribute
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish at St. Mary's Church, 32 Carrol Avenue, Williamstown, on Saturday, March25, 2023 at 9 AM, Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
