Patrice E Lightcap "Trish," of Gibbstown, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. She was 57.
Legacy
Trish and Rich shared a wonderful marriage of 27 years. Trish had many admirable qualities. To name a few, she was very loving, honest, generous, and outgoing. Trish was a doting wife and friend, always putting the needs of everyone else before her. Trish had a great passion for all people. She had a love for family, especially when it came to the holidays. She decorated for every holiday and any chance that she could, Trish loved to entertain family and friends. Trish loved spending time playing pinochle with her late Uncle Joe. Trish always enjoyed her summer barbecues with a nice cold Michelob Ultra in hand by the pool. She had a thrill for traveling, visiting 49 of the 50 United States. Trish and Rich loved karaoke, especially singing 70's, 80's, and oldies. She was a baseball fan and an avid Braves fan. Trish loved traveling to Atlanta with her grandsons, Adrian and Jordan to watch the Braves at their home field. Trish worked at the Gloucester County Emergency Services for 23 years, most recently as a lieutenant. She was also a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School.
Family
Trish is the beloved wife of Richard Lightcap; loving mother of Linda Hauer (Eddie), Nancy Marra, loving sister of MaryBeth Gourdier (John), Greg Reilly (Jan), John Kearney, John Gallen (Giselle). Trish was a doting aunt to Michael, Greg, Alaynna, Carly, Nicole, Kevin, Jaclynn, Jessica, and John. She was also a loving grandmother to Adrian, Noah, Hailee, Jordan, Julia, Judah, and Mandy. Great grandmother to Asher, Cody, and Mason. Great great grandmother to Benjamin and Alexander. Trish was predeceased by her parents John Gallen, Joan Gallen, and Patricia Gallen.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Trish's viewing on Tuesday after 3 PM and Wednesday 9 - 10 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ O8020. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 10 AM on Wednesday in the Funeral Home. Interment Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, NJ 08020.
