Obituary of John M Leach

John M Leach, of Villas, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. He was 75.

Legacy

John will be fondly remembered as a quiet, hard working man who loved his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, John graduated from West Catholic and shortly after joined the United States Air Force. Following his service, John worked as a lineman for Verizon, retiring in 2001 after more than 30 years of dedicated service.

Away from work, John enjoyed summers at the beach, fishing and cheering on his beloved Philly Sports Teams. Most of all, John enjoyed the time spent with is family creating memories that will be cherished as his legacy.

Family

John is the beloved husband of the late Lorraine; devoted father of Michelle Leach-Rapczynski (Todd), Jacqueline Piazza, Christine Leach-Suarez (Angelo) & John Leach; cherished grandfather of Kate Piazza & Sierra Suarez; dear companion of JoAnn Alessandrine; loving brother of the late George, Michael & Mary Leach.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John's viewing on Thursday, April 20, 2023 after 9 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573, Egg Harbor Road, (Sewell) Washington Twp. where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ. In lieu of lowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to Wounded Warriors Project at woundedwarriorproject.org or to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org
