Obituary of James R. O'Neill

James R. "Bob" O'Neill, 90, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023.   

Legacy 
He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, companion, and friend.  He loved to be around his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Bob had a strong belief in his faith and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree.  He served proudly in the United States Air Forces during the Korean War.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  In his younger years he loved to play baseball, basketball and football.  Throughout his life he loved dancing, photography, flying planes and shooting with his son Bob.  

Family 
He is the beloved husband of 64 years to the late Annette O'Neill (nee Swanson) and wonderful companion in his later years to Judy Brown.  Loving father of Robert O'Neill (Michele), Kevin P. O'Neill , Timothy B. O'Neill (Beth), Dennis O'Neill , Eileen O'Neill.  Devoted grandfather of 6, great grandfather of 10.  Predeceased by his parents Josephine and James O'Neill and sisters Pat, Helen, and Kathy.  He will be deeply missed by family and friends.  

Farewell Tribute 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, May 15th from 8:00AM to 10:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home Washington Twp.-location 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.  Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00AM in Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 500 Greentree Road Glassboro, NJ 08028.  Interment will be at a later date.
