Obituary of Anna Marie Faichtyger

Anna Marie D. Faichtyger (DeAngelo), of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 19, 2023.  She was 91 years old.
 
Legacy
Ann was born and raised in Philadelphia and has lived in Sewell, NJ for many years.  She met and married the love of her life, the late Edward P. Faichtyger (retired Philadelphia Police Officer) and they started a lovely family.  Over the years, she truly loved traveling, and has visited Portugal, Spain, Hawaii, and has taken many cruises, Italy being one of her favorites.   She was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and always looked impeccable and "Dressed to the nines".   Ann loved decorating for the holidays, and pretty much every holiday!  She had decorations for every season, holiday and so on, but especially love making the house ready for Christmas every year.  She was also an avid collector of many things, mostly Lladro,  Swarvoski & Lennox pieces and trinkets of all kinds.    

Over the years, she has been a devout member of the Church of the Holy Family, Sewell, and served as a Lector. She was very devout to her Catholic faith and was a staple in the Holy Family Church community, and part of the OWLS Senior Group at the church. 

She loved going to see plays, be it NYC plays or local plays at the 3 Little Bakers Theater.  Atlantic City was a destination for her, as she loved going to the casinos, and when not doing all the other things she enjoyed she relaxed and watched the Hallmark channel.  Ann loved going to concerts, some of her favorites were Frankie Vallie, Johnny Mathis, Andre Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Yanni, Al Martino & Il Divo, pretty much anything she could do to dress up and look her best!

Family
She is the beloved Wife of 64 years to the late Edward "Paul" Faichtyger: loving mother of Ed & wife Nancy Faichtyger and Marc Faichtyger;  loving grandmother of Eddie III (Meg), Ari (Matt) & Nick; best great grandmother of Ellie, Charli & Harper.  Ann leaves behind her furry companion and buddy "Reggie".  
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday May 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM in the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 12:45 PM.  Interment will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
