Obituary of Andrew J. Pencook, Sr
Andrew J. Pencook Sr., of the Oak Valley section of Deptford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2023. He was 92.
Legacy
Andy was born and raised in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. After serving during the Korean War, he moved to Philadelphia, where he met his wife, Laura. Andy and Laura started their family in Oak Valley, NJ, a place he would call home for over 60 years.
Andy showed passion in everything he did, from his military term as a Marine to his career as a Superintendent at J.B. Eurell Company and later home renovation and woodworking projects during retirement. In his leisure, you could almost always find him listening to Big Band music, taking morning walks at the mall with his friends, or hosting family holidays and summer BBQs with his beloved wife, Laura.
Andy was a devoted husband, father, and pop-pop, and he will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Andy is the beloved husband of the late Laura; devoted father of Michele Kile (the late Thomas), Paul (Cathy), Andrew J., Jr. (Sandra), Kenneth (Sandra) and Janet Mesmer (Kenneth), loving grandfather of Christine, Marc, Paul, Lisa, Dan`yell, Justin, Anthony, Andy, Kenneth, Jr., Lonni, Kenneth, Jr. & Alaina and great grandfather of Ryan, Laura, Sean, Taylor, Ella, Leo & Anthony
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 10:00AM in the Infant Jesus Parish at Saint Margaret's RC Church, Third Avenue & Beech Street, Woodbury Heights where his Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
