Obituary of Trung Van Dang

Trung Van Dang, "Steve,” of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, May 27, 2023.  He was 57. Born in Da Nang, Vietnam to Mai Dang and Bo (nee Nguyen) Dang. Steve was a refugee of the Vietnam War and settled in Philadelphia, PA.
 
Legacy
He forged a life despite all odds, filled with love and integrity in a country he did not hail from. Through adversity, he fought to establish an identity reconciling where he came from and whom he strove to be. He was an accomplished electrical engineer and entrepreneur, founding Telecom Team Consultants, Inc. in 1999. His work ethic, like his character, was strong and unfailing. Perhaps more importantly, he taught through example. He exemplified the spirit of hard work, selflessness, and shrewdness. Even in his last moments, his thoughts were of the needs of those around him. Needless to say, the sacrifices he made never went unnoticed, and they inspire others, especially his children, to realize and seek their greatest happiness.

Steve loved golf, fishing, traveling, and watching Philadelphia sports with his family. He had an affinity for the ocean and the beach as well as an innate talent for recognizing and appreciating the finer things in life. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Hang Dang, his daughters Kyvan and Christine, and his sons Richard (Adriana Lombardo) and Phillip.
 
Family
Steve is the beloved husband of Hang (nee Dang), the cherished father of Kyvan, Christine, Richard (Adriana Lombardo), and Phillip Dang.
