Obituary of Ronald W. Crisp
Ronald Wayne Crisp went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on June 3, 2023. Age 80 years, long time resident of Gloucester City.
Family
Predeceased by his best friend and cherished wife, of 48 years, Judith Ann Crisp. Also predeceased by his beloved parents, August and Dorothy Crisp, his brother August, and sisters Dorothy Rhoda and Judith Woodhouse. Loving father to Linda Brumbach (Mark), Laurie Wyeth (John) and Ronda Sansevero (David). Adoring Pop-pop to Stephanie (Keith), Patrick, Jamie (Tori), Amanda (Michael) Tanner (Fiona), Jude and Gianna. Great-grandfather to Jaden. Brother-in-law to Rev. Edward Rusk (Sherri), Steven Rusk (Gail), Laura Zank (Michael), Brian Rusk (Edie), David Rusk and the late Mark Rusk, Sr. (Denise). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Legacy
Ron was a 1961 graduate of Gloucester High School, where he met his soulmate Judy. Ron served in the United States Army Reserves and later worked as a draftsman for many years. He was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he served as treasurer.
Ron loved Philly sports, especially his beloved Eagles, and was a season ticket holder for over 50 years. He also enjoyed yearly vacations to Florida, he loved to play pinochle and cards with good friends, the casino and spending time with his family.
Farewell Ceremony
Relatives and friends are invited to Ron's viewing on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 6:30 to 9 PM and Wednesday, June 14, 2023 9 to 10 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 10 AM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gloucester, NJ.
