Obituary of Eugene A. Livingston

Eugene A. Livingston, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 with his beloved family by his side. He was 86.

Legacy

Born in Camden and raised in Woodbury, Gene graduated from Woodbury High School. Following high school, Gene dabbled in various jobs such as Truck Driver; letter carrier; cab driver and retired from West Deptford School District as the supervisor of the Custodians. Gene served in the National Guard for 14 years and was based out of the Woodbury Armory.

Away from work, Gene was an avid Civil War history enthusiast; loved traveling and had the gift of gab and was a great story teller. Gene loved his family and enjoyed creating memories which will be cherished as his legacy.

Family

Gene is the beloved husband of the late Loretta (nee Myers); loving father of Debra Daniels and her husband, Joe, Donna Targett and her late husband Michael, and Dawn Jayjohn and her husband Dean, John Hill and the late Eugene Livingston; grandfather of 7, great grandfather of 13 and great great grandfather of 1.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gene's viewing on Monday after 10 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11AM. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gene's honor to the American Kidney Fund by visiting www.kidneyfund.org..
