Obituary of Fred D. Wallace, Jr.

Fred D. Wallace Jr., 92, of Paulsboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

Legacy

He was a loving and caring husband, father, uncle, cousin, and friend. He loved to be around his family and he loved Carolyn's cooking. Fred enjoyed going to Jazz concerts, gardening, and landscaping his yard. He was known for his quick wit, sense of Humor, and unique dancing style. He was a proud member of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He worked for the New Jersey Transit Company for over 34 years till his retirement.

Family

He is the beloved husband of 64 wonderful years and 5 months to his lovely wife Carolyn Wallace (nee Wilson). Devoted father of Marsha and the late Mark. Predeceased by his parents Sadie and Fred Sr. Wallace and siblings Evelyn, Richard, Alvin and Gail. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, July 13th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home -( Woodbury Location), 34 Hunter Street. Woodbury NJ 08096 and again on Friday, July 14th from 10:00AM to 11:15AM in the First Baptist Church of Jericho, 981 Mail Avenue, Deptford, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 11:30AM. Interment to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
