My deepest condolences to Lee and Family.
I’d like to share how Bob touched my life with kindness and compassion.
In the mid 1980’s as a 20 something year-old, I desperately needed an office for my “side hustle” income tax business. I often got lost driving to clients (no GPS back then). Bob became aware of my struggles as both our sons were in Collingswood Cub Scouts and without hesitation, he offered me desk space in his Richey Ave office, expecting absolutely nothing in return. I spent many tax seasons in Bob’s office and he never once brought up charging me rent.
Bob helped me when I needed it most and in doing so, touched my life in a special way. I’ve shared his act of kindness countless times to others (clients, friends, mentors) and will continue to do so for many years to come.

I've played many a round of golf with Bob and they were always fun and often included unique occurrences, but one in particular is worth sharing. One year, Bob and I were randomly partnered together during a PMGA season ending tournament and were one of the first groups out. We both shot lights out on the front nine (particularly Bob), but we played terrible on the back nine and gave it all back. As we sat in the bar crying into our beers about what could have been, it started to rain. A couple golfers walked in wet, then some even wetter yet, then the entire rest of the field walled in and said it's raining so hard that Orist has called the tournament and will only be counting the front nine. Bob and I raised our pint glasses and smiled. Yep, we ended up winning the tournament! (As a side note it allow me to just sneak in as number 10 for the shoot-out, which I ultimately won, thanks to Bob's fine play that October Day).
My sincere condolences to Bob's Family and close friends. He'll be missed.

Bob was one of my closest friends. I probably spent more time with him than anyone every Saturday. Last week he couldn't believe how fast the time had past when i invited him to play White Manor 15 years ago! Bob and I played courses all over the state for the last 17 years... we just enjoyed each others company in a quest to find 10 more yards. He was a rock to confide in, he was buddy to laugh with, we would even share a few recipes and we broke alot of bread and had a few SWOOSH's in between. I will miss him very much! My thoughts are with his family, his wife Lee, his sons, who I never met, but I feel I know. I pray you can come to peace with what happened. Know he didn't plan it, but he was doing what he liked to do other than being with his family....he was swinging his Adams 9064 always in search of those extra 10 yards!

While I did not know Robert well, I played with him in the men’s league at Pitman CC. I so enjoyed his quiet demeanor and keen sense of humor. Simply put, he was a pleasure to play with and we had a lot of laughs. He enjoyed golf…but didn’t take it too seriously. I suspect that was how he approached life. In brief, it is clear that he was a VERY good man.
