Obituary of William Dennis Stinsman
William Dennis Stinsman, Sr. of Williamstown, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. He was 74.
Legacy
Bill was born in Camden and raised in Gloucester and then settled in WIlliamstown where he raised his family.. He joined and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. During his serve, Bill was awarded several medals including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with four Bronze Service Stars and the Bronze Star Medal with "V" Device and 1 Oak Leaf Cluster.
Upon returning he worked for more than 40 years as a Millwright for John Manville in Berlin. Bill will be fondly remembered as a hard working man who loved his family and was very proud of is Military Service. He was an outgoing man who enjoyed engaging people in conversation and made countless friends over the years. Bill was a Life Member of VVA Post 1068 in Somerdale and VFW Post 303 in Sicklerville, He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bill is the beloved husband of Anna "Shirley"(nee Auxer); loving father of Stephen (Sandra) Stinsman, Billie-Jo (Jim) Stinsman- Tucker & William D. (Shawna)Stinsman Jr.; dear brother of Donna Mosley; grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 9.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill's viewing on Saturday, September 2, 2023 in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, (Sewell) Washington Twp. where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 12 Noon. Interment with Military Honors will be announced for a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society by visiting www.cancer.org.
