Obituary of Joseph Francis Donahue III

Joseph Francis Donahue III, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. 

Legacy

Joe grew up in National Park, NJ. He worked in the refinery field, and was an industrial planner and then also a superintendent for many years. 

Throughout his life, he loved playing sports.  He was a huge Philadelphia sports fan and loved watching all of the games, the pro's and also college level, he loved to play golf and even won a few tournaments. He would often be found watching the Food Network as well as the old Western shows, like Gunsmoke & Bonanza.  Joe truly loved animals, especially his pets, Blossom, Morgan and Sadie, but most of all, he loved spending time with his daughters.

Family

Loving son of Joseph Francis Donahue II and the late Marilyn Donahue; best dad ever to Kelsea Donahue (fiance Bruce Prichard) and Lindsay Donahue and also their mom Heather Mavilla; cherished brother of Bob Donahue (Kriss), Kevin Donahue (Gina), Rick Donahue (Sharon), Brian Donahue (Grace); uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096.
