Obituary of LeRoy M. Luciana, Jr.
LeRoy M. Luciana Jr., 76, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
Legacy
Lee was a loving and proud husband, father, and friend. A strong-willed Army Airborne Vietnam Veteran, he was known to say how he wasn't a people person as he proceeded to talk and laugh with just about everyone. He had many jobs through the years, mainly utilizing his mechanical skillset, and finished his career out in Swedesboro Industrial Park as a well respected Maintenance Supervisor. Always the inventor and fixer, his home had a spot for tools and was filled with trademark "Lee" jobs ("Might not look pretty but it'll last for 50+ years." "Dad, no need to weld that rusty training wheel, I'm 17 years old and driving already..."). It was easy to notice his 9creativity reached well beyond mechanics when you heard him play his saxophone or clarinet. He had a joy for music, cars, boats, horses, casino games, fishing, history, science, the Eagles, and falling asleep to the Phillies. A meal out with Lee involved overcooked steaks, a nice gin and tonic, food that can't touch each other, a severe allergy to seasoning, and an unprovoked hatred for onions. He was a dedicated man that always put his family first over his own comforts and his lessons and guidance will be missed by many. Love ya Dad, thanks for everything.
Family
A son to his late parents, Susan and LeRoy Luciana Sr. and brother to Wil Luciana. He was the tolerated husband to the late Sharon D. Luciana for 46 love filled years. Dedicated father of Jeffrey Luciana (Katie) and Stacie Luciana. The over-gift giving grandfather of Gavin and Travis. Beloved brother-in-law of Linda Anderson (Terry), Jackie Force (the late Ken) and Colleen Casino Buddy Lee (the late Gay). Lee was also the father of the late LeRoy Luciana III and Mark Luciana from his first marriage, which includes great / grandkids. He will be missed by family, friends and his gremlin dog Cinnamon.
