Obituary of William R. Gomeringer

William R. Gomeringer, of Waterford, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was 75.

Legacy

Bill was born and raised in Philadelphia. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Bronze Star Medal; Expert Sharpshooter and Mechanic Badge

Following his time in the service, Bill returned home and over the next 50 years dedicated his work life to the Automobile Industry mostly with the Martin Dealerships where he began as a mechanic and worked up to a Salesman. Bill ultimately retired from Burns Honda in Marlton.

Away from work, Bill lived a simple life and mostly enjoyed an eclectic variety of genres of music. He was an avid fan of the Phillies & Eagles through the great and not so great seasons.

Bill will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family

Bill is the beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Miller); loving father of William Gomeringer and his wife Maureen, Timothy Gomeringer and his wife Jenny & Michael Miller and his wife Lauren; cherished grandfather of Liam, Shane, Emma, Erin, Lucien and Nora.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill's viewing on Saturday after 9 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
