Obituary of John McLaughlin

John "Jack" McLaughlin, 89, of Marlton and Cape May Court House, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Legacy

He was a loving and caring husband, father, Pop Pop, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was born and raised in Collingdale, PA. Jack was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Korean War and he worked for the Philadelphia Police Department and New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. He was an avid collector of coins and Police and Marine Corps memorabilia, which he had dedicated a whole room in his home.

Family

He is the beloved husband of 69 years to Regina "Jeanne" McLaughlin (nee Hutter). Devoted father to Jeanne Marie McLaughlin, Colleen McLaughlin-Heasty (Jim), Kelly Libbey (Shane), and the late Kathleen McLaughlin. Treasured grandfather to Shane, Kevin, Jim, Jr., Bryan (Diana) and Shannon (Stephen). Adored great grandfather to Elizabeth, Brendan, Brigid, Genevieve, Moira and Seamus. Son of the late Mary and Dominic McLaughlin. Dear brother of William McLaughlin (late Dolores). He will be greatly missed by family, extended family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, November 4th from 10:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home (Washington Twp. Location) 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Service at 12:00PM. Interment will be private.
