Obituary of William James Loges

William James Loges, age 83, formally of Haddon Heights and Mount Ephraim passed away peacefully on October 28, 2023.

Bill was a proud Veteran of the Navy. He worked as a US Postal Carrier for 30+ years at the Woodcrest Station Post Office in Cherry Hill before retiring. He was an avid fan of all sports and enjoyed being a season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Flyers for many years. He would also umpire high school baseball games after work for many years in our local area. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and football as a young man growing up in Camden, NJ.

He was a beloved husband of 37 years to Thomasine Loges (nee Bezich). Devoted father of Steven Loges (Laura) and William Loges (Reshma) as well as loving Grandfather to Simran. Dear brother to Elaine Peard (Jack) and Della "Bunny" Shuman (John); as well as many nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews.

His stories, laughter and love will be greatly missed. He is now at peace with our Lord in Heaven.

Services to be held privately for family only at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
