Obituary of Clarice Finocchi

Clarice Finocchi (nee DiFeterici), of West Deptford NJ, passed away on November 24th, 2023 at the age of 75. Clarice was born in El Paso Texas to the late Joseph and Alicia (nee Medel) DiFeterici. Being from a military family she experienced many homes in many locations before finally settling in New Jersey where she graduated from Paulsboro High School. She began her teaching career after acquiring her degree from Glassboro State. Clarice went on to teach 5th grade for 41 years in the Gloucester Township School District at Glen Landing Middle School and Loring Fleming Elementary School. A dedicated teacher and a loving wife who was married for 48 years to the late Dante Finocchi (2017). She was a devoted mother to her son Adam (Gayle), a caring daughter to her aging mother Alicia and a loving mother in law to Gayle (Adam). But her greatest joy was her two grandsons Maximillian and Gabriel closely followed by her nieces and nephews. Clarice is remembered fondly by her brothers Joseph DiFeterici , Nicholas (Gayle) DiFeterici , Rafael (Laura) DiFeterici , and Antonio (Leanna) DiFeterici , nephew Erik (Terri) DiFeterici as well as many other family and friends. Clarice was known for her no nonsense approach to life but for those who knew her best there couldn’t have been a nicer more compassionate lady. In her later years she kept a full schedule with the Gloucester County Gardeners Club, Local Book Club, Gourmet Club and Neighborhood Lunch. She applied her passion for nature and her wisdom in so many ways. Being a tour guide at the Red Bank Battlefield Butterfly House was one of her favorites! In all the roles that she has played Clarice has joyfully touched so many lives. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend her viewing on Thursday, November 30th, 2023 from 10am - 12pm, followed by her Funeral Service at 12pm in The Chapel of McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury NJ 08096. A Final Committal Service will take place on Monday, December 4th, 2023 at 10am located at Eglington Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, located at 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
