Obituary of James W. Walker, Jr.

James W. Walker, Jr., 68, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

Legacy

He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved the "Boss" Bruce Springsteen, and spoiling his wife. He had a love hate relationship with the Eagles. He enjoyed his pool and the back deck, and cooking for his family and friends. He worked 35 years with the National Park Public Works, which he made a lot of close friends over the years.

Family

He is the beloved husband of 37 wonderful years to Kathleen Walker (nee Rodenbaugh). Devoted father of Shenayah, Joe (Chrissy), Tara (Carl), Kristal (Joey) and Jimmy III. Treasured grandfather of Emily, Caitlin, Emily, Tyler, Russell, Alycia, Dezaray, Jacee, and Leenesa. Adored great grandfather of Haidden, Silas, Emersyn, and Malani. Dear brother of Sandy (John). His best friend Bill. Predeceased by his parents Lillian and James W. Walker, Sr. and he's now together with his furry pal Cash. He will be greatly missed by his family, extended family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Family and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, December 27th from 11:00AM to 2:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - (Woodbury Location) 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 2:00PM. Interment will be private by the request of the family.
