Obituary of William C. Robins
William C Robins, of Marmora, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. He was 77.
Legacy
Born and raised in National Park; Bill was a member of the Boy Scouts and earned the level of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Woodbury High School and attended Pierce Junior College for a short time before being drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He earned four medals during his service: the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Upon returning, Bill married the love of his life, Linda Rader and together they have shared 54 years of marriage while raising their two daughters.
Bill worked in the Chemical/Oil Industry for Intertek Caleb Brett for more than 27 years until his retirement in 2012. He will be fondly remembered as a quiet yet quick witted man. He enjoyed golfing, especially when he got a Hole in One on the Lake Buena Vista golf course at Walt Disney World. Summers were spent camping down the shore outside of Sea Isle City and fishing and crabbing on his beloved boat, the RocknRobin. Bill was a long-timemember of the Quaker City String Band spending many New Years Day parades entertaining along Broad Street.
Away from his work, Bill enjoyed gardening and maintaining a pristine lawn as well as cheering on his Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies through the great and not so great seasons. Bill will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
