Obituary of Rita E. Natoli

Rita Natoli (nee DeLeo) passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at the age of 80.

Born to the late Joseph and Mary (nee Esola) DeLeo in Philadelphia on May 22nd, 1943.  Loving sister to the late Salvatore (Elizabeth) DeLeo, Mary Jeannette DeLeo (Joseph Felicetti), and sister-in-law Rosemarie (Steven) Lattanzio.

"Cookie" as most knew her was the beloved mother to Rita (Joseph) Terranova, Christine (Michael) Giacobetti Portnoy, William (Gina) Natoli III, Dr. Joseph (Jennifer) Natoli. Loving Gram to Gina, Joseph T., Lenny, Anthony, Kara, Billy, Joseph N., and Rocco. The best GiGi to Jake, Carmen, Nicolette, Joey, Anthony and Gavin. Cookie will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Cherished friend to Cathy and Deano Rea of over forty years.

Rita is the loving wife of the late William C. Natoli Jr. (2003). The couple was married in 1963.  Together they continued the family business Anvil Iron Works, Philadelphia PA which has continued to carry their family legacy by their son William. Rita held her Catholic faith in high regard, dedicating over two decades volunteering at St. Edwards Parish in Pine Hill, where she played many roles including a CCD Instructor.  Rita also volunteered countless hours at the CYO in Blackwood, NJ.

Rita was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Gram, GiGi, and Friend. She devoted her life to her family and faith.

A mass of Catholic Faith will take place to honor Rita at 11am on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 in St. Agnes Church located at the corner of Coles Road and Little Gloucester Road, Peters Ln, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
