Obituary of Helen C. Flynn

Our beautiful mother Helen (McCusker) Flynn born in Philadelphia, PA on September 27, 1937 sadly passed away moving on to heaven on March 10, 2024, at the age of 86.

Legacy

She was a wonderful, loving mother, a thoughtful, gentle, grandmother and great grandmother, dear Aunt and devout friend to many. She was so well-loved by all, and always there when needed for her family and the many friends with whom she shared her life. Ready at all times to pick up and go, visit somewhere new, try something new, and meet someone new. Her outgoing spirit allowed her to live life to the fullest. She will be perpetually missed and her joyful, tender spirit will never be forgotten.

Family

She was predeceased by George Flynn Jr., George Flynn III, Maude (Bedlow) McCusker, Vince McCusker Sr., Vincent McCusker Jr., and survived by her daughters and their families; Linda (Flynn) Short (Bobby), Vicky (Flynn) Franks, Karen Flynn, Maureen Flynn, Helen (Flynn) Bouchard (Dominic), nine grandchildren; Michael Franks (Heather), Brian Schultz (Lisa), Jessica Lilly (Tim), Robert Short, Miranda Short, Liam Bouchard, Miles Bouchard, Quinn Bouchard, & Wyatt Bouchard and five great grandchildren; Chloe, Mya, Hayden, Hunter & Adeline.

Farewell Tribute

A memorial mass will be held for Helen, Friday, April 5, 2024 at 10:30am, in Holy Angels Parish - St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church 86 Cooper Street Woodbury, NJ 08096.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to www.parkinson.org. (Donate)
