Obituary of Mary Vera Bradley
Mary Vera Bradley (nee Righter), of Williamstown, New Jersey, passed away on March 17, 2024 at the age of 89.
Family
Born to the late Henry and Elizabeth (nee Boyle) Righter on September 28th, 1934. Mary is predeceased by her eleven loving siblings Joseph, Anna, Sarah, Henry, William, Francis, Elizabeth, Edmond, Charles, Jeanette, and Bernard. Growing up, Mary's home was full of love, laughter, and family. She knew when starting a family of her own, she'd want those same values carried over. Mary met the love of her life, the late James Bradley (2004). The pair met at a St. Aloysius dance and had been inseparable up until James' passing. Mary enjoyed the simple things in life such as taking family vacations to Wildwood beach every year and one of the greatest joys to her was a good movie and a glass of port wine with her husband. Mary and James had so much love between them, they welcomed their four loving children Michael (Terrie), James (Maryann), Marybeth (John), and Stephen (Elaine) into their lives. Mike, Jim, Marybeth, and Stephen remember fondly of their childhood where Mary made the holidays truly a joy as she was known for being the host of Thanksgiving and Christmas on the 26th. Mary loved having her family around and made every point to spend time with them, especially her grandchildren Kelly (Charlie), Elizabeth, James (Kimberly), Caitlin (Zachary), Alexandra, Bridget, Stephen Jr., Grace, and Paul, as well as her great-grandchildren Bryce, Charlotte, Olivia, Chase, Zoey, and Sadie.
Legacy
After James' passing, Mary flourished as the rock of her family. She carried herself with grace and emotional strength to continue on with her family the traditions her & James' spent years instilling. Mary can be remembered fondly for her delicious cooking of roast beef and potato salad, her caring, quiet personality, and quirky jokes.
