Obituary of Nancy J. Petri

Nancy J. Petri (née Piccorossi), of Mount Royal, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024.  She was 65.
 
Legacy
Born in Camden, NJ; Nancy was raised in West Deptford and graduated from West Deptford High School and then earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana State University. Nancy and her husband Mark first met at their friends’ wedding, in which Nancy was a bridesmaid and Mark was the best man. They shared 42 years of marriage and raised three children. Their family embodies the love that Nancy and Mark shared for each other.

Nancy will be fondly remembered as an empathetic and strong-willed woman with a kind, supportive, and playful presence. She enjoyed deepening her Catholic faith, contributing to her church and school communities, and spending time outside. Nancy was an avid fan of Jeopardy and spent time reading, listening to audiobooks, and solving puzzles. She was a devoted wife and mother; the days spent creating memories with her family will be a cherished part of her legacy.
 
Family
Nancy is the treasured wife of Mark Petri; beloved mother of Claire Petri, Tom Petri, Sandra Petri and her husband David Stephenson; dear sister of Betsy Pross, Janet Beckman, Thomas Piccorossi, Karen Herwig, Joseph Piccorossi, and Michael Piccorossi.

Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, April 6, 2024 after 10:00 AM in the Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where her Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon. At her family's request, interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, Nancy's family requests memorial contributions made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 30 S. 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or by visiting www.nationalmssociety.org.
