Barbara A. Marlow (Swift)
Barbara A. Marlow, of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. She was 77 years young.
Legacy
Barbara was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Turnersville 48 years ago. Being a South Philly girl, Barbara was an avid lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Barbara graduated from South Philadelphia High School with dreams of getting married, raising a family and working. She began that dream by marrying the love of her life in April of 1968. Shortly after, she continued her dream with the start of her family in February of 1969. She began her career in medical billing in the mid 1980’s and worked for the same medical practice for over 25 years until her retirement in December 2011.
Barbara had a love of family, community and charity. She was ordained as a minister by the Universal Life Church Monastery and would frequently provide the Eucharist sacrament to others. She was an active member and volunteer of the Apostles Lutheran Church in Turnersville. She was a member of the choir and made many contributions to include providing food assistance through the food pantry to those in need within her community.
