Obituary of Gary C. Rettberg

Gary Charles Rettberg, 63, of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Legacy

He was a loving and caring father, Pop Pop, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He loved to be around his family, especially his granddaughter. Born in Camden, NJ and was raised in Woodbury. Gary was an outstanding wrestler in high school and enjoyed many sports. He loved to play horseshoes and darts with his family and friends.

Family

He was the beloved father of Gary (Steph) and Sarah (Yixuan). Adored Pop Pop of Anna. Dear nephew of his uncle Charlie. Son of the late Dorothy and Philip Rettberg. Cherished brother of Cathy Howell, Dottie Ringer, Paul, Brenda Snoke, Ginger Szalma, late Philip Jr., late Greg, and late David. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, May 14th from 10:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home-(Woodbury Location), 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 12:00PM. Interment to follow in Eglington Cemetery Clarksboro, New Jersey.
