Obituary of Elizabeth V. Densten

Elizabeth V. Densten (nee Waegele), 91, of Mantua, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Legacy

Elizabeth spent over 40 years of her life caring for others as a nurse until she retired later in life and found other interests to love and care for. She had a passion for crocheting which brought many blankets and other gifts for her family and friends and she appreciated our American history through attending and visiting several history museums and events in her life with her children. In that time she also spent 25+ years as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. Elizabeth enjoyed reading Amish romance novels, racecar racing and the beauty of lighthouses. She loved and adored her family as much she as she loved her cats. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Elizabeth will forever be remember and cherished.

Family

She was the adored wife of the late Harry P. Densten. Beloved mother to Harry C. Densten (Carla), Judith Densten, Robert Densten (Marcia), Mary Densten, Deborah Densten, Patricia Densten and the late Kathleen McClelland (Chip). Loving Grandmother to 10 and Great Grandmother of 3! Dear sister to Joseph Waegele and the late Clara Robb, Mabel Huff, Paul Waegele, Frances Waegele and Robert Waegele. Daughter of the late Clara and Frank Waegele. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 1, 2024 in the Church of the Incarnation 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. Interment to follow at Eglington Cemetery. Interment to follow at Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts of America- www.girlscouts.org.
