Family
Born to the late Morton and Eleanor (nee Vitchell) Horovitz on April 9th, 1939, in Philadelphia, PA. Harry is the beloved brother of Betty Sanders, the late Philip Horovitz, and the late Robert Horovitz. Growing up, Harry attended Philadelphia High School as the graduating class of 1957. Immediately after graduation, Harry enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country.
After Harry’s discharge from the Navy, Harry attended and graduated from Glassboro State College and began working towards the life he envisioned for himself. A few years later, Harry was fortunate enough to meet the love of his life, Camille (nee Cirulej) and become the proud father of Richard. Harry and Camille instantly felt a spark and married in 1984, spending a loving 40 years together until Harry’s passing. Together they laughed, loved, and lived life to the fullest. Harry and Camille loved to travel together, take cruises, and spend time with their beloved dogs China, Chang, Nina, Lola, and Greta. Harry loved having his family around, and by joining families with Camille, he loved his family time even more.
Legacy
Harry loved spending time with his family, he and Camille started becoming the hosts of family celebrations, BBQs, and occasional parties where friends and family can come play games, laugh, and enjoy one another. During the festivities, Harry could be found playing horseshoe with his brother-in-laws. He loved spending time with his nieces Lisa (Daryl) Glass, Lauren Ciurlej, and nephews Nathan Horovitz, Justin Horovitz, and Adam Horovitz, and hosting family gatherings gave Harry that opportunity.
