Obituary of Marisa J. Kaluhiokalani

Marisa Jean Kaluhiokalani, 31, of Woodbury Heights, NJ, passed away on October 2, 2018.

Legacy

A ray of sunshine and full of life, Marisa's smile would light up a room.  She was vivacious and had a bigger than life personality.  Marisa put others need before her own and had the unique ability for others to feel loved, even if she just met them.  Devoted to her family, Marisa cherished her special time spent with them.  A strong faith and her belief in the power of prayer, Marisa was very spiritual, using this to see her through some difficult times.  In her spare time, Marisa created jewelry pieces, listening to different genres of music and adding to her collection of butterfly memorabilia.

Born in Woodbury, NJ, Marisa was a lifelong resident of Woodbury Heights and a 2005 graduate of Gateway High School.  She went to Gloucester County Vocational School and was a cosmetologist.  To go along with her outgoing personality, Marisa was a cheer leader and voted "Most Outgoing" during high school.

Beloved Mother of Malia Cialoni; loving daughter of Joseph M. and Angelina (nee Camerlengo) Kaluhiokalani; devoted sister of Tanya Wittje (Nick), RJ  Kaluhiokalani (Melissa) and Leiloni Kaluhiokalani Hanson (Scott); dear aunt of Courtney, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Makayla, Kai, Gracelyn, Julia and great aunt of Kylan and Jaxton.  Marisa is survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.  Marisa is predeceased and has joined her beloved cousin, Perry.

Lifetime Celebration

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marisa's visitation on Saturday, October 13, 2018, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ, where the Celebration of Marisa's life will follow at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rap Room Parent to Parent, 1010 B. Tuckerton Road, Marlton, NJ 08053.
