Aunt Adele was the strong and courageous woman in the Pribush family. She was the quiescental middle child. She was born with a handicap, namedly congenital
hip defect. However, Adedle never used the word handicap or defect with regard to her life. She took her situation and turned it into an “energy” drawing from it
strength, not weakness, victory not a victim mentality, joy and peace rather then
unrest. I learned from Aunt Adele how to perserve when circumstances were
difficult, to never give up or surrender, to keep my faith and trust in God, Jesus,
The Holy Spirit. I also learned how to laugh, and laugh hard. To find the joy in each day, every sun rise and sun set and everything In between. I asked her if she had
any regrets in her life. She said she had one regret. Uncle Ken was Scotch Irish ☘️ and therefore they always talked about going to Ireland to find his heritage.
We visited Ireland this past June in honor of her and our 45 Anniversary. Salinte

I only met Aunt Adele late in her life and I but I do remember her clear opinions. She is among the spirited few who move into assisted living, miss their home, and then rather than succumbing to depression and regret (and despite age and condition) venture back into the community “on their own.”
