Rich Was a great friend, neighbor and co-worker who would do just about anything for you! One time I was stranded with a broken-down boat trailer on a highway. So I thought, Rich knows just about everything about anything, maybe he can help. I made a call to him to see how I could get to where I was going, not expecting him to actually drive 30 minutes to where I was stuck. We went and got parts and fixed the trailer on the side of the highway and went on our way. This is just a small example of how Rich helped out anyway he could. I will miss the great times we had in Sea Isle and also as a great friend who could be counted on for anything! Sorry I missed your ceremony (was out of the country) but had a great time talking with you the day before your passing and knew you were ready to let go. You will be missed!

Stacey, we are sorry for your loss. Your Dad was one of Bill's best friends. We will always be grateful for the encouragement and assistance your parents gave us when we moved to the Philippines. We have many fond memories. Wishing you strength and comfort as you cope with your loss. Your Dad was one of the nicest people in this world and will never be forgotten by anyone who had the privilege of knowing him and calling him a friend.

There is not much that can be said about Rich that has not already been said. There are so many stories that could be told, but it would take months. The underlying story is that this man was a true loving husband, father and a friend to all he met. His work ethic, knowledge and mechanical ability was second to none. It was my pleasure to work with Rich and call him one of my best friends. I, like many will truly miss this man. My condolences and prayers to his loved ones.

My sincere condolences to the DiPietro family. Rich was an outstanding employee of the Navy Crane Center back in the 90's when I first met him. I admired his dedication, patience, and loyalty. Over the past few years, I connected with Rich via facebook and got to know the man on a more personal level. I admired him and prayed for him, but eventually, the Lord took him home. Although he will be sorely missed by friends and family, he is now pain free and celebrating in heaven!

Rich was of of a kind. In my younger years I learned so much from Rich in the Transmission field. Loved our hunting trips and having a cold beer with him after. Rich went to the Navy Yard and I followed on his coat tail still learning from him. I remember a old Harley trike he found in pieces at the yard he was determined to make it run again and that he did. Everyone was jealous of him that was his mode of transportation around the yard he worked so hard to get it together and running. Rest in peace Rich love you and you will be missed so much. Till we meet again.

Richie....you will be missed by many. For those who knew Richie in the very early 70's like I did, he most likely looked under the hood of your car at some point. If you had mechanical car problems, he was that person who said "just bring it over Sat, I'll take a look. No appointments necessary and never, never took a dime for his services.
I will always remember the Margate summer shore houses in 1971 and 1972. Prior to opening 1971 shore house, I did not know Margate at the time. Richie says you will like Maloney's ...7 drafts for a $1. I told him that I am a beer drinker. He chuckled and said...you will be a beer drinker before summer is over! Sure nuff….thanks Rich! We had a lot of fun back in the day!
RIP my friend!

our condolences to the family, it was my honor to work with Rich while working at PWC Subic Bay. Rich worked over at the SRF and we spent time talking about cranes a& old western movies. Rich always had a smile on his face that I will never forget. He was always willing to help anyone in need no matter what the issue if he could help he would. May he forever rest in peace in the kingdom of God our father

Dear family of Rich DiPietro9
My sincere condolences on the passing of Rich. Rich was a good friend back in our high school days, and it was always a pleasure to "catch up" with him at the various Deptford High Class of 1966 reunions. I know many classmates were happy to see Rich at our 50th reunion celebration in 2016. He will be missed by many friends in the Class of '66.
Although there is much sadness now, I am certain that, as time goes by, the wonderful memories you have of Rich will once again bring a smile to your lips and a twinkle to your eye every time you think of him!
With sympathy,
Bryant Heisinger
