Dear Sharon,
It was with sadness that I read Vic's obituary. I and my husband, Harvey, send our sincere condolences and prayers to you and your family. I remember being good friends with Vic and Bob O'Mara growing up in Kensington.
We would just sit on our front steps and hang out. I also remember for my 18th birthday in 1965, my Dad surprised me with football tickets for my favoite team-the San Diego Chargers. They were playing the Jets at Shea Stadium in NY on 10/23/65, I asked Vic to go. We had a great time.

Jack, Rachael and Gina would like to extend our most sincerest sympathies to such a warm and loving family. A parent should not have to bury a child, nor a wife and children suffer such a loss... but we do not know God's master plan and must trust in our faith to bring us to resolve at some point. Our love and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I Jack first met Vic at the age of fifteen at my first job. I was taken back at Vic's incredible math skills at such quick off the cuff calculations. I further followed Vic to Pep Boys as he helped me get the position in Woodbury # 53. Vic was a gentle man with always time to help you. He always wanted to see someone succeed. My memeories of Vic and the Hink Family will always be a part of who I am now. My family will always be blessed through having known you all. God Bless you all. Jack Dechen

To Vic's wife Sharon and their children and to his Mom who my family holds dear to our hearts and Vic's brothers.
The sudden passing of Vic will hurt for some time. Things we meant to say and did not have time. You will have fond memories through the years to come. He had a good upbringing and a lot of love and I am sure this was passed on to his family. My heart goes out to you with your loss. God will be with you and guide you a long. Pray to him in time of need. God Bless You.

I have worked with Vic for the past 10 years and have enjoyed his friendship and help. He was a very caring person and funny. I knew if I had a problem with special orders I could always call Vic to get the right answer. He was a wonderful friend and co-worker, and he will be sadly missed. God Speed

I was shocked and saddened when I learned of the sudden passing of your beloved husband, father, son and brother.
I came to Pep Boys in 1978, a year afer Vic began and it wasn't long before we met. To know Vic was to like and respect him. He was a hard working, caring person and I held him in the very highest regard.
During his years as the Manager of the Bustleton store,he was extremely kind and helpful to my Mom, so I always considered him to be like family.
While the passage of time will will help to ease the pain of your loss, wonderful memories of Vic will be with you forever.
God bless you.
Sincerely,
Mitch Leibovitz

Greg, When we experience any kind of devastating loss, as I am sure you and your family are going through now, feelings will arise within us that are overwhelming & difficult to cope with. Please remember that this seemingly never-ending spiral of emptiness will not last forever. You may feel denial, anger, grief, monents of strength, faith and laughter. You will eventually find your center again. Accept all these feeling and with time and patience the feeling of what you had and who you loved will transform you. Your memories of your father will live more fully within you. Healing is part of the cycle of grief. Based on the Greg Hink I know, you father did a great job in raising you and must be very proud of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
