Obituary of Louis V Castagna, Jr.

Louis Victor Castagna, Jr. Age 80, passed away December 10, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. Formerly of Philadelphia,Moorestown, Ocean City and Egg Harbor Township.  Lou was born February 15, 1939 in Philadelphia. Loving husband and father to his family and good friend to many. A graduate of West Catholic High School, Lou became an entrepreneur opening the first of 4 hair salons, “The Haircutters”.  Lou loved entertaining and spending time with his family. The boardwalk in Ocean City was his favorite place to run and ride his bike. It is with extreme sadness that he leave us, yet with intense joy to know that he will be with God in heaven.

Lou is survived by his beloved wife Margaret (O’Neill), son Louis III (Susan), Michele Mizia (Robert) and Diane Eisenhart (Daniel). Also survived by 11 grandchildren.

A celebration of Lou’s life will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ from 9:00-11:00 AM.  A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Louis V.
