Obituary of Nicholas C. Lamparelli

Nicholas C Lamparelli, 69, West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020.

Legacy

Nick was a loving man devoted to his family and his Catholic faith, attending masses where his daughter sang. Nothing made Nick happier than spending time with his family; they were his everything. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he was their biggest fan, never missing any of their events. Nick had a smile that lit up a room, a contagious laugh and a hug like no other. It warms the family's heart to hear that he touched so many people, and that their lives are brighter because he was a part of it. Nick believed it was the simple things in life that made the treasured memories... trips to Ocean City eating pizza and fries, doodling, a round of golf, and sharing laughs at dinners with family and friends.

Born in Boston, MA, Nick was a resident of West Deptford, NJ for 32 years but never lost his New England accent. He was a proud graduate of Maine Maritime Academy. Nick loved his job as a marine engineer and worked at many shipyards up and down the East Coast. He was most recently employed at Excel Hydraulics in Clarksboro, NJ.

Family

Beloved husband of 45 years to Debi (nee Stutzman); loving father of Nick (Lynn) Lamparelli and Jackie (Lamparelli); cherished grandfather of Nicky, Catie, Brennan and the late Christopher; dear brother of Diane (John) Pica, Terri (Pat) Higgins and Gina (John) Keefe. Nick is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Farewell Tribute

Everyone is invited to attend Nick's viewing on Wednesday, 6:00 - 9:00 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, 11:00 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Michael's RC Church, 313 Memorial Avenue, Gibbstown, NJ. Interment will follow at Wenonah Cemetery, Mantua, NJ.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Nick’s name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
