I knew Mary Ellen Moore as a sales rep at Ampro Sporting Goods from the early 90"s when I coached St Maria Goretti Girls Softball. Mary Ellen was always happy to help !!!! AND MOST OF ALL I REMEMBER SHE ALWAYS SMILED AND LAUGHED!
For years as I worked for the Rec dept and coached many sports teams, I always went to Mary Ellen for ideas and items for the teams.As I started selling Real estate,I needed apparel with my company logo and she would always have her design team do a great job for us.
When I called Ampro today and started talking about Mary Ellen, the manager told me the news of her passing. I was truly saddened to hear this. I knew Mary Ellen had retired then went back to Ampro as they needed her help...and that's something she always gave freely!!!!. Her passing is a great loss to so many... I can't imagine going into Ampro showroom and Mary Ellen not sitting there with a big smile and a hug to greet me....
I didn't know we were the same age until I read her obituary... same age...same catholic school education and upbringing. I am sure that her family has been blessed by her in the past and she looks down on them from Heaven now & in the future.
I will always remember & miss you...
