Obituary of Charles F. Vaughan

Charles Frederick Vaughan, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020. He was 79.

Legacy
Born in Philadelphia to J. Fred and Clara Vaughan, Charles was raised and remained in West Deptford, NJ all his life.
After graduating from Paulsboro High School (Class of 1958), Charles proudly joined the National Guard and was a member for 21 years. He was a pipefitter by trade, working for the Mobil/Valero Oil Refinery in Paulsboro for over 25 years before retiring. In retirement, Charles expressed his passion and knowledge for military history by volunteering as a tour guide at the Battleship USS New Jersey.

Family
Predeceased by his parents J. Fred and Clara (Pierce) Vaughan, Charles is survived by his brother David Vaughan (Deborah) of Cary, NC; his nieces and nephews Kristine Vaughan of Chesapeake, VA, Matthew Vaughan of Ft. Worth, TX, Justin Vaughan of Raleigh, NC, Rebecca Vaughan currently residing in Prague, Czech Republic; and a dear cousin Carolynn McNair of Ottawa, Canada.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
