Gary, Matt, & Steven,
I am so sorry to just be made aware of Donna's passing. I worked with Donna at the Camden County Welfare Board for many years and we kept in touch after she left to go to WT School. Then as life has a way of doing, we lost touch. RIP Donna

Donna's smile, sincerity and happy personality always lit up a room - especially the classroom as an amazing teacher. She was kind to everyone! However, she truly loved kids and animals. We shared frustrations and wonderful conversations but regardless of the circumstance, we always shared laughter. Donna really was "one of the good ones" and she will be missed as she touched many lives. Sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Donna was such a good friend to me and I will never forget her kindness, support, and laughter. We all have only the best memories of her and are truly saddened. Her devotion to you was incomparable and never ending. Losing Donna is a great loss to so many.

I will always remember the first time I met Donna at a WTPS workshop. I was a new teacher, and she gave me encouragement and a balanced (shoot from the hip) perspective. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to the family.

We are very saddened to find out of Mrs. Savill’s passing! She was a very good teacher to our daughter Nicole, who had passed in August of 2020. I know they’re up in heaven together having a good time like they did at the High School. She assisted our daughter at the proms, dances and the bowling team.

Donna was such a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. I remember having long conversations with her about books we read. We often talked about our dogs. She was always a pleasure to be around.

I received a phone call from my Mom, Sue Batten McConnell, last night telling me about Donna's passing. I am sure that her parents and brother Dan are welcoming her to her new home. My name is Peter Coppola, aka the mayor to Ms.Savill and her class. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Savill my Junior year of high school, she was my in class aid for science. Instantly we grew a fantastic friendship. Ms.Savill cared so deeply about me, she even brought her family and some coworkers to my job at the time. Later in the year she gave me the student choice award (pictured down below). As I went onto my senior year, our friendship grew, I volunteered in her special education program 8th period Monday-Friday. We joke about my car “Ivanka” & all gossip about what drama was going on in the school. As my time at washington township high school ended, I took her number down. She text me “Hey Mr.Mayor....” before any conversation. While I was attempting to become a police officer, she was the first to write her name down as a reference.
