Eleanor was the face of Campbell Soup Company. She was the first person you met at Campbells and greeted visitors as they left. Her grace, beauty, heart and soul symbolized and represented the company. Truly the First Lady of Campbells. She was the finest person in her role I ever met in 35 years of business and travelling around the country and world for the business - and I let her know that ! May she rest in peace in the glory of God and maybe He'd ask her to greet folks at the Pearly Gates when they enter .

Even though my memories of Eleanor are from when I was a kid fifty-some-odd years ago, I still recognized her from the online photograph. I can recall the sound of her voice, too. I've often thought of her over the years, usually upon seeing a photo or film depicting glamorous women from the 60s or 70s. Fashionable, hard-working and maternal, she was an everywoman's Jacqueline Kennedy. I remember her gentle and easy manner, too. Thanks, Eleanor, for letting me watch Dark Shadows with Kristi, and for being a model of style and grace. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. -- Tom Sheeran

What a lovely lady and a real jewel for Campbell's. I enjoyed many wonderful conversations with her. It was always evident how much she loved her daughters. She also loved her position at Campbell Soup. Sincere condolences to the family, especially her beautiful daughters. I pray that God grants the family peace at this difficult time as you celebrate a life filled with joy and precious memories. Fay Coleman, Campbell Retiree

Please accept my heart felt condolences. Eleanor was an absolute joy to work with & an honor to call a friend. She ran the show and we all knew it. She was the face of Campbells Soup, your first impression. A gracious hello, a smile and glasses that rivaled the Crayola crayon color pallet. So many memories of her and her kindness toward me. There’s a new keeper of heavens gate. RIP & GOD SPEED ELEANOR - Bill Adair

I am the retired CEO of Campbell Soup Company. Eleanor was the first employee I met when I walked into Campbell World Headquarters on January 8t, 2001. We were fast friends from that first meeting. She was remarkably competent, remarkably kind, and the perfect ambassador for our company with every guest. We were most fortunate to have her with us until her retirement beckoned. I am glad that her retirement was filled with friends and family. She was one in a million and I am sure she will be deeply missed. My condolences go out to the entire family.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Eleanor. She would go out of her way to make any and all visitors to Campbell Soup feel attended to and special. She knew "all the regulars to the Campbell Lobby" and she could multi-task like no one else I know. She was especially at her best on "Board Day"!! Making sure all the "right people" were handled with the right amount of TLC. I am pleased to call Eleanor my friend. She was one of those special people that touch your life. I'll remember her as one of the most beautiful people (inside and out) that I have ever known!! God bless her and may she Rest In Peace. With love and caring to the family, Domenick Luccarelli
