Obituary of Barbara A. Milligan

Barbara A. Milligan, (nee Himmelsbach), 78, of Mantua, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021.

 

Legacy

Born and raised in Pitman, New Jersey, Barbara moved to Mantua 17 years ago.  Prior to retirement, Barbara was an accountant for Ultra Hardware Products in Pennsauken, NJ.

 

A loving and friendly lady, Barbara was a social butterfly and made lifelong friends.  Until she got sick, she would have monthly outings with longtime friends from kindergarten.  She made friends everywhere she went and volunteered with many charities, especially those dealing with animals.  She loved animals and cherished her furry feline friends as family.  Barbara never had a mean word to say about anyone and had an endearing way of making everyone feel special.  She enjoyed going to local band concerts and listening to gospel and classical music.  Barbara's friends will miss her sharp sarcastic wit that only they understood. Family

Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Adam James and Irma Bernice (nee Kerns Himmelsbach and her son, Paul Milligan.  Barbara is survived by her dear friend, Rita M. Sanders and many life long, loving friends and neighbors.
