Going to miss you Mark. Not just when I wanted something fixed, and not when I wanted a hug or any of that tender shit. Unlike me, you were tender on the inside and rough and cantankerous on the outside. Like a buckskin. Me, the opposite. Thank you for coming right over when my ceiling fan was stuck on high, for welding my son’s floorboard, for the endless lawn mowers and Miller lites. Thanks for taking me to Maine and teaching me to shoot a gun and stoke a fire from the bottom, like Tim Galbraith, and for calling me a retard when I deserved it. You shared what you had. And your laugh. Never going to forget that. It makes me sad that you are gone. Thanks for being nice to me and for being my friend. I am gonna miss you. I am so sorry you are gone.
