Since we were always looking for our golf balls in the woods, I thought we could plant some trees for other golfers to hook into. Join in honoring their life - plant a memorial tree

Another friend of mine, who also worked @ Windstream, just mentioned to me that Jim has passed away. Your husband, father and friend was a good man. I really liked Jim and although we were close while working, but haven't really been in touch since. I am sorry to hear of this and believe that as more find out that the entrants to say a few words about him will continue to grow.

Played a lot of golf with Jim over the years. Enjoyed many trips to Williamsburg, Myrtle, and West Palm but none more enjoyable than our trip to Pebble Beach.
Gonna miss ya, buddy.

Was lucky enough to meet Mr Lizon 4-5 years ago at my employer, The Shore Club, where he belonged as a member. We immediately became friends and played golf together when I wasn’t catering to him. A true gentleman and incredibly gratuitous to our staff. I took this photo of him and Gary Player this August. My condolences to his family. He was one of a kind.

My condolences to Kathy, Kelly, Michael, Robbie and Katherine. I did not know Jim for nearly as long as I would have liked or had planned too. In the few years that I did, he was so loving, kind and gracious to Robbie and my entire family. I was lucky enough to hear his renowned Happy Birthday rendition at Michael’s bday last month and all I could do was look at him and laugh. (And record it, of course) Every memory I have of Jim was him smiling or laughing, no matter where he was or the circumstances, he always was smiling and had a great love of life, and aways making sure everyone was cared for. I always enjoyed being around him and Kathy and the kids. I have so many very fun memories in such a short period of time, it was like we had known each other forever. I know he cherished Kathy and was an amazing Dad and will be truly missed by his family and anyone that knew him. My love to you all and prayers that all your amazing memories will help ease the pain and allow you to smile.

Kathy, Kelly & Micheal,
Nothing I can write can help with your loss but know that you are extremely loved by us. Our oldest and dearest friends from so many years ago, we cherish all our fun laughs, cosmos, daiquiris, golf outings, New Kids on the Block, cookouts, first days of school at the bus stop, long, long phone calls, meals, conversations, saran wrap speedo's, golf clubs wrapped around trees in Poolesville, New Years Eve's, Christmas Eve dinners, Christmas Day dinners, swimming in our pools, weddings, chorus's of Meatloaf and crazy evening limoncello nights looking over top Landis to name a few. The obituary was perfect and spot on as was the photo! Our lives never would have been this fun & full without knowing Jimmy! Love him & miss him already.
Jill & Tim
