Obituary of James M Lizon

James M. Lizon, 64, of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 3, 2022.

Legacy
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jimmy was raised in Alexandria, Virginia and then moved to Haddon Heights as a freshman in high school.  He has been a resident of Turnersville for 28 years.  A great swimmer, Jimmy was offered a full scholarship to Glassboro State College and he did not go.  You ask why?  Jimmy went to the college to register and he said the line was too long.  That was his story and he is sticking to it.  He went on to start his own business, Data Voice Networks and operated that business for 8 years.  He then sold the business to Paetec Communications and ultimately retired from Windstream as the Vice President of Sales in 2013.  After retiring, Jimmy obtained his real estate license and dabbled until he realized how much he enjoyed retirement life.

A loving and generous guy, Jimmy was devoted to his family.  He was proud of the life that he was able to provide for his wife, Kathy and children, Kelly and Michael.  Time spent with family and friends were treasured and many memories were made at their shore home in Sea Isle.  He had a wonderful sense of humor, sometimes, most of the time, inappropriate and Jimmy loved to stir the pot.  Earplugs were needed when it came time to celebrate and sing Happy Birthday, because his own rendition that he enjoyed performing.  Besides his family, golf was his passion and if you were looking for Jimmy, you could find him on the greens at Wedgwood Golf Club and the Shore Club.

Family
