Ski ran down the steps of St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church as I was ready to board the vehicle to take my Fathers Body to his final resting place in May 1983 and said exhuberantly to me "You can come live with us and I have an alterior motive you can babysit." Who does this except a man of exceptional compassion??? This gesture to me showed the depth of love in the soul of Ski that is engraved forever. I was 39, unmarried and my best friend, my Father had gone to God.
I want Kathie, Ann Marie, Donna, Frank, Kristin to know Ski is above all others in my heart and he will have 30 Gregorian Masses offered by the Capuchins for his dear soul as a thank you for his kindness to me.
It is no surprise that Ski went to God on the Feast of St Joseph the Worker. This Feast fits Ski to a tee.
