The Holidays are certainly not the same anymore. This will be our 2nd season without you and it still feels like yesterday you were sitting in your chair as the girls opened all their presents. The many laughs we shared and how we song our Dropkick Murphy's song, "The Season's Upon Us" every hour on the hour. I miss that so much. I miss hearing you sing and all your funny stories and jokes. Hey dad, it's been over 1 year now since we last seen your smile and heard your laugh. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Dad, it’s already April. I can’t believe how fast time is going. But i still Feel like everything that happened was yesterday. I’m so glad I got to spend my last night with you making sure you were comfortable and resting a bit. Watching Seinfeld and Jerry’s puffy shirt. I wish i hugged You a little longer that morning before going home but I know That was how it was meant to be. I love You so so much! Miss you more than anything!

Jer it’s almost 9 months since I lost my best friend. We all miss you so much and I know deep in my heart that you don’t want us feeling sad, that you are in a place that is pain and worry free. We celebrated your day, Father’s Day at the beach and saw the ladybug that was on my show there. We know that was you just letting us know that you were there with us. I miss you everyday, keep watching over us my angel.

This feeling is still strange. Every time I stop home to see mom, I look at the chair in hopes I would see you sitting there once more but that is me being selfish. I know you are at peace now, you are with your parents, brothers and nephew and no longer tired and in pain. I prayed for you to get rest and now I know you are. Thank you for an amazing life you gave me and Gerard and thank you for showing us a beautiful marriage between you and mom- a love like no other. Without a doubt Gerry was one of the funniest guys I’ve been blessed to know…every Friday in FSD timekeeping we would sit in Joe Stengel’s office & laugh so loud, so hard and so many times until tears from Gerry’s stories.
