Obituary of Rose Marie Cintron-Allen

Rose Marie Cintron-Allen, 66, of Fort Pierce, Florida and Cape May Courthouse, NJ, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

Legacy

Beloved Daughter to Emery and Bernadette Bittmann, Rose graduated from Woodrow Wilson High school in 1975 with honors. She attended Camden County College, worked at Cigna Healthcare and then Independence Blue Cross and Blue Shield as a Data Programmer. She attended Cabrini College and received her Bachelor of Arts, and in 1994 received a Master of Business Administration from Drexel University. She moved to Florida in 2004 and has been going back and forth between Florida and her home in Cape May Courthouse. Rose was currently employed by PSI Corporation as a Healthcare consultant and project manager.

A strong willed, heroic, and generous woman, Rose believed nothing was more important than her family. She was the epitome of scholastic excellence, however she thought of others before herself, was always available to lend a helping hand and went out of her way to make everyone feel included. Family and friends have been gifted with many of her works of art whether it was one of her oil paintings, a crochet blanket, or any other number of her brilliant works of creativity. She enjoyed tending to her gardens, shopping, and especially time spent on the beach relaxing and taking everything in.

In her early thirties she took up running as a way of sharing an activity with her husband and loved it! She ran everything from 5ks to marathons and eventually went on to completing 25 marathons! When her mother passed away in 2009, after a battle with cancer, Rose and her sister participated in “The American Cancer Society” bike-a-thon which started her journey of training

For many bike races to come including triathlons and eventually Iron Man events. With her positive outlook on life, Rose mentored many newbies for their training in these events. She qualified for the USA triathlon team and competed all over the world including Penticton, South Africa, and Lake Placid, the latter of which came down to a nail biting finale. She was currently training for a Triathlon in Ibiza, Spain to represent “Team USA.”
