Mrs Clifford was the BEST neighbor and friend. Her spirit will live on forever in Grassy Sounds. When I walk by the Clifford house, I know I will feel her warm embrace, see her smile, hear her laughter and smell the crabs cooking. Rest in paradise dear Mrs Clifford.

My deepest condolences to the Clifford family. I knew her as my Aunt Evelyn. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and much more. As I was growing up and also as an adult, I always looked forward to seeing her at family events, her calling out “Jimmy!”, her embrace, the way she always paid deep attention and cared about how I was and – of course – if there was anything at all she could do for me (usually, a wonderful home cooked meal). I will never forget how she made me feel. She was such a loving sister to my Dad, and she was so good to my Mom, both as she joined the family and as they went to Phillies games together later in life. She was forever welcoming, always wanting to host and look after her extended family just as if we were her kids. I could see through her family members just how special of a mom and grandmom she was. She had such an enormous impact on all of us. Very sorry for your loss. Love you all – Jim (Jimmy) Colanero
