Oh how, I will miss you, my dear aunt May! Your contagious smile and playful demeanor will always be with me. I was blessed to have grown up with my uncles and aunts as our families worked at staying connected during the very busy growth years. I can remember Aunt May, as far back as a baby…In fact, I can remember being on the floor at Aunt May’s house and taking out all of her pots and pans, and how she never got mad at me and actually delighted in the noise and in the mess I was creating in her kitchen. I can honestly never remember a negative thing that ever came out of her mouth, even when dealing with letdowns and tragedies she always had a smile on her face and a kind, encouraging word to share. Her relationship with my uncle Jake is still a standard that I would like to live up to in my marriage. The Wonderful children they raised (My cousins) And grandchildren they nurtured all share some of their beautiful traits of encouragement, humor, and joy. It is said “from a good tree comes good fruit”, Aunt May’s Legacy is being part of that tree. Since I couldn’t be at the funeral today, I hope these words will be received in the spirit of my wonderful Aunt. I especially want my cousin Christine to know how much I appreciate her, taking care of my aunt during the toughest part of her journey, I also want to thank my other cousins for offering support, love and encouragement during that time as well. God bless all of you… Keep the fire burning and the light shining and she Will NEVER be forgotten. Love, Anthony

I knew Mae for many years through her work with Vera and Gene and Crispin Cleaners in Marlton, NJ. Not only was May an employee, but a close friend of the owners. I always enjoyed seeing May and had many fond memories of our chats together. She did wear that infamous Clifford suit every Halloween! I always admired her beautiful curly hair as I also had curly hair but it was never as gorgeous as hers. I’ll remember her for her kind, sweet spirit. She will be missed by many.
